Patchwork Crescent Quilt Coat [XL]
Patchwork Crescent Quilt Coat [XL]
Handmade, one of a kind coat made out of a vintage farmhouse quilt. Beautiful patchwork made from homespun cottons, in blue and gray colors. The quilt backing was made out of feedsacks, which is so special. The pockets were made using a Crescent brand sugar sack from the 1920s.
Three chore style pockets. All seams have been finished with bias tape, no raw edges. Vintage metal button closure. Pretty heavyweight and warm.
Please note this quilt is heavily distressed. I patched over most of the holes, but left other distressed areas as is. The inside is especially distressed, with worn areas where you can see the batting. It is nearly 100 years old and super unique.
Gender neutral. Fits like a traditional men's extra large. All sales are final, so please refer to measurements and look carefully through the photos. Please feel free to reach out with any questions.
